Hey, I'm Gazz, 20 years of age. Progressed well with learning guitar for 3 years, and i have been in bands since i was 18. I am reliable, don't have any transport, and i live in lincoln. Im not an arrogant guitarist. I just really enjoy playing. I have been in bands such as Last Promise, and Everything For Nothing (which has currently grounded to a halt).
  I have a good personality, a good team player, and in my opinion quite a good lyricist. I have wrote over 30 songs, which are all detailed with music to go with them.

Musicians wanted by Lead Vocalist and/or guitarist for new Rock/Metal band.
Hi im Ben, ex frontman/guitarist from lincoln based (now defunct) Arcanum, looking to start a new band. Wanting to create something really original with a Metal/Dirty Rock sound with both mega heavy and melodic parts but with the main focus being on writing catchy songs and developing a unique and diverse sound.
I am looking to do just Lead Vocals so would prefer 2 guitarists, bassist and drummer (Backing vocals prefferred in the mix somewhere also) to complete the band. 
My influences include Avenged Sevenfold, Every Time I Die, Sanctity, Children of Bodom, Machine Head, Disturbed,Lamb of God,AFI, Bullet for My Valentine, Atreyu, Alexisonfire and loads more.

Second Guitarist wanted for Lincoln band
Hi there we are Anne (Lead Vocals), Pete (Guitar), Gary (Bass and Grumpiness) and James (Drums) or if you like, The Privateers.  We're a fairly new band in Lincoln.  We are looking for a second guitarist lead or rythmn or both to join us.  We are late twenties to mid thirties, pretty laid back and easy going folk.  We currently treat this as a hobby with potential.  We like having fun playing songs together and that's the main focus at the moment although we are looking to gig at some point in the not too distant future.  We practice usually once or twice a week at Metheringham Music Factory which is a great place to go and play.  Songs we do as covers at present to give you an idea of the kind of stuff we like are, Radiohead, Ramones, John Lennon, Tom Petty, Oasis, Zutons Levellers Counting Crows, to name but a few.  We like to mix styles up and have a go at anything, so if you're a pleasant easy going person who fancies being in a band, can commit to coming to Metheringham at least once a week and reasonably proficient on the guitar (we're not expecting Hendrix), then we'd like to hear from you.  If you can sing backing vocals too, so much the better.  Email me in the first instance gapstcaths@aol.com

Band Vacancy

Hi im in a band Called Everything For Nothing, (www.myspace.com/everythingfornothing08). Re-forming it, as we split up august last year due to commitments. Im gazz, and i am after two reliable, outgoing, experienced people to fill the gaps in the band. Plenty of material written, but inputs are always appreciated as a band is not all one person, its a team thing baby. Age would probably range from 18-30. Gigging experience would be great. Stage presence would also be fantastic. Also transport would be fantastic, but theres always a way to get to practice, so it doesn't matter if you havent got a car/ped/bike/hot-air-balloon.
 
Check out the songs on the myspace, one has me singing, the other is the old singer, but i put it up just for you people to get an idea of what we (or.... me as it stands atm), sound like. I think the music could go somewhere. I just need a drummer and a bassist to transform it that little bit more.

Vocalist & musicians (no more guitarists please) wanted

Hi we are Pete, Gary, James and Dan (Band name pending!!).

We're a pretty new band from Lincoln with varying tastes in music and ages ranging from 21 to mid thirties.  We have 2 guitarists, a bass player and a drummer so what we're lacking is a really good singer.  We're mainly doing covers at the moment but the longer term plan is to write and perform stuff of our own.  Between us we pretty much cover all bases musically, embracing most genres, if you can play it with a rythmn section and a couple of guitars we'll give it a bash basically.  Here's a list of a few artsist we try to cover to give you an idea of the stuff we like, although we're very much open to new ideas and suggestions.  Radiohead, Tom Petty, John Mayer, Levellers, Libertines, Police, Bob Marley, The Darkness, Cream, REM, Fine Young Cannibals, The Clash and anything else we can think of (these were just off top of my head).

 We're looking for a singer we're not too fussed, how old you are, male or female, all we really require is someone with a half decent voice, and this bit I can;t stress too much, someone who is easy going and friendly  How we all fit together personally is much more important to us than how fantastic you are, we're all just learning and trying to improve and enjoying ourselves as we go.  We like to get together once or twice a week in the evenings and have a jam and a laugh.  We sometimes play at James house where he has his kit set up, but if we're feeling flush we pool our hard earned cash and hire out a rehearsal room.

Guitarist/bassist and guitarist/drummer seek vocalist for indie/rock/emo/hardcore band. We're looking for someone who can write lyrics and melodies and hopefully will be flexible enough to do the odd screamed vocal, though not essential.

Guitarist/singer requires bassist and drummer to complete modern rock 3 piece. I have songs witten and ready to be worked on, and ideally want to be gigging as soon as possible. I've been trying to join bands around the Lincoln area, but no one seems to be playing the type of music I'd like to be playing. So I'm trying to get it started myself.

Second Guitarist / Vocalist wanted

Hi, we are Pete, Gary and James.  We're a Lincoln band all late twenties to mid thirties, Pete is Lead/Rhythmn Guitar and some vocals, Gary on bass and James is our drummer.  We jam most weeks either at James's place or sometimes at Playing Aloud.  We're not at the stage where we're able to gig yet and mostly we're just into enjoying playing together and getting better although we are probably working towards being able to gig at some point in the future.  We're looking for a second guitarist who is also a good vocalist to help us kick on a little to the next level.  We have a wide base of influences from rock to folk, dance to indie punk to funk soul and reggae and everything else in between.  We are all pretty easy going friendly blokes and the most important thing we require from any new member would be to fit in with that ethos.  We jam mostly weekday evenings.  So if you are a reasonable vocalist and guitar player (we are all fairly new to this but improveing steadily, being friendly and flexible is much more important to us than ability) are flexible in what music you like to play and have an easy going friendly outlook then we'd love to hear from you.  You can email in the first instance gapstcaths@aol.com just drop me a line and we can have a chat and see how we go from there.  Cheers, Pete, Gary and James

Drummer Wanted

We are called Crisis Clinic (www.myspace.com/crisisclinicuk). Have gone through some changes recently, which meant the drummer leaving the band. But hey, no hard feelings. We are a up-beat rock style band, who play catchy songs, with lyrics that stay in your head for hours. Music already written, (but there's always time for sitting down and writing songs as a band), im not after any time wasters,or unreliability.
