Keyboards & Drummer Wanted

Wanted Keyboards & Drummer... Three old (ish) farts are looking for a 'Keyboardist' and also a 'Drummist' (any age or sex) to complete a new good time 5 piece line-up that will be covering songs from 1950's up to 1980's i.e: RnR.. Blues.. Pop maybe a little Country (eagles etc) and playing only small venues in and around Lincoln for very little else but to play. .....Berry Quo Eagles Sraits Fury Edmunds Stones Cooke to name but a few.

It is a very informal set-up but 'some' commitment is required along with a sense of humour, transport/gear etc. Vocals would be a bonus but not compulsary Experience would also be nice but, again, its not compulsary We are 3 ex-pros that have all retired and are now missing it .... so decided to try a low key arrangement obviously for low key money and said low key money is an equal split ... as is any underwear that may be thrown to the stage !

I'm a 25 year old Guitarist/Song Writer looking for a Guitarist, Bass player, Drummer, Synth/Keyboardist and Vocalist Aged 17-30 to form original Punk Rock band. Writing influences include: Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars, Blink-182, Feeder...to name a few.

Background about me: Was in a fairly successful indie/punk rock band back in 2006 making it to the top 3 of the Road to V competition and playing on the same bill as The Who at the O2 Wireless festival. Sadly it was not to last as the members werent commited to pursue it further.

I think that there is still more in music for me and would to find members who want to make something of themselves musically. Currently writing and demoing all new music. Can provide new material to listen to if required from what I have demoed so far. Looking to write 20-30 songs to get it down to 11 amazing ones to gig and record professionally. Ideas and songs welcome from all other members, this isn't a dictatorship lol.

Vocals: Looking for a great front man who can command the audience while having a great voice.
Guitarist: Someone who can write great guitar riffs and loves playing loud music live.
Bassist: Great timing and the ability to come up with cool bass lines
Drums: Looking for a drummer who is hard hitting, fast and energetic.
Synth/keyboardist: Can write and play cool electro beats/riffs and loves music.

Look forward to writing music with these people and playing lots of shows to lots of people with them and having a f***ing good time while doing it.

I know that this is all asking a lot to find all these talented people but if you dont ask you wont get.

ATTENTION: HORN PLAYER NEEDED FOR LINCOLN BASED JAZZ QUARTET!!!

Local Jazz Quartet wanting to expand to a Quintet a soon as possible
with either a Saxophonist or Trumpeter

My name is James and im a 13 , almost 14 year old guitarist and im looking for my first band expierience. Im highly dedicated to music as its all I want to do in my life. I am about grade 4/5 in performance levels but my theory lacks as I am just learning the scales , appreggios and the circle of fiths. My biggest influence is nirvana and Kurt Cobain , some say im obsessed but I want to not copy nirvanas style , but make my own style with my band.
Although I play mostly grunge im willing to play any style and with any age group. It doesent have to be a gigging band but I would prefer it as im trying to get the idea of how a band works because im serious about making this my career . Im am willing to do anything it takes to get into a band. I have my own equipment , 10 watt amp for practising , multi effects pedal , an ibanez gax eletric guitar and a falcoln dreadnaught acoustic guitar and i will play either. Experienced Lincoln based metal band seek a dedicated, talented and creative guitarist who can play a mix of rhythm and lead.

Band members wanted for a lincoln based circuit bending, heavy electro-rock project in the style of innerpartysystem meets nine inch nails and early lostprophets. (IPS main influence here)
Your role will be writing songs, everything techy (programming, modding controllers, midi controlled lighting - dont worry you wont be alone!) and keys/laptop/controllerism, guitar/bass and occasional vocals would be a plus.
You should have a competent grasp on software, primarily ableton and reason, have reasonable equipment, and a hard working, dedicated, fast moving attitude.

Lead Vocalist Required

Lincoln covers band require a committed vocalist (male or female). We’ve been performing for about a year and have gigged at a variety of pubs and events in the Lincoln area and been well received, most recently to a crowd of 500 at a local beer festival.

We have access to practice rooms near Lincoln at no charge to us and currently practice once a week. Ideally you will have your own transport to get to gigs and to practice. Age and experience is not important, but it’s important that you can work as a member of a team, and you must be able to sing! Music includes a range of rock and pop from the 70's through to the present day. Our current set list includes Bad Company, Stereophonics, Blondie, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Greenday, Kings of Leon, ZZ Top, Cult, Stray Cats, The View, Led Zeppelin, Undertones, AC/DC, Enemy, Snow Patrol and more. Plus we’re always happy to introduce new material.

A melodic/tech/djent metal band (with some hardcore influences) are forming around august/september time (2010), we already have a vocalist, guitarist and drummer with much live experience and are looking for experienced bassist and guitarist to join us.
Must be at a standard to play and write music similar to Structures, Periphery, As I Lay Dying, While She Sleeps etc, ability to sing melodic clean vocals whilst playing would be a much appreciated bonus. We're a 5 piece Rock covers band based in the Lincoln area looking for a good drummer to complete our line-up. There's a wealth of experience in the band already and some excellent contacts. We should be ready to gig soon as we already have a number of songs in the set and we're already booked as the headline act at a bikers rally in September.

We're flexible regarding age but I'm 45, which should give you an idea of what you'd be working with. This is certainly a great opportunity for someone. We do a wide range of material and we’re always open to ideas for new material so there’s nothing to stop you making your own contribution.

Hello there. I’m Joe Mac (22), a well-established local singer/songwriter and lead guitarist for Dancing Lotus, with plenty of gigging/recording/experience. I’m looking to start another band for gigs and to have band fun with. My influences range from Violent Femmes to The Kinks to Tom Waits, The Rolling Stones, Lou Reed and Dylan. I like anything rough and ready with soul, and am concentrating on expanding my own sound - there’s only so much noise I can make on my own with one acoustic guitar!

Local Lincoln based drummer looking for an interesting side project

I am an experienced drummer looking for an easy going side project to compliment my main band. I am ideally looking for something acoustic or folk based, needs to be easy going and low stress. This would be something that runs along side my main band and has to be flexible. 

I can play drums either my full kit or my cut down jazz/be-bop kit or percussion/cajon. I also play a bit of bass and im trying to learn the mandolin. I can also do some backing vocals. 

I have an idea to do cut down versions of rock/pop/indie songs in cafe or small pub environment. I have access to PA and have some recording gear.

Drummer required for a casual covers band.
We're playing covers that WE like, so none of the old 'Faves' are included.
We don't go out gigging all the time, and don't practice 3 times a week.
This is just a casual thing with Ex Semi-Pro musicians who've given up the old dreams of rock n Roll stardom and have other interests outside music and just want to keep our hand in and play the odd gig for giggles and a few bob!
Music is sort of Rock, Punk, Metal, Etc... But no Grunting/Screaming stuff.
As always, Own kit and transport are as essential as ability, but for once, total commitment isn't a requirement!

The Substitutes have recently lost their singer and are now looking for a replacement. The band members are aged 12-13 but we are looking for a singer aged 12-15, we do a mixture of covers and our own material and have paid gigs lined up if we can find the right person. Had lots of exposre recently on radio, newspapers and through local gigs and want to carry on with that, we just need the right person, male or female to come and join us. King SkaFa, a Lincoln based Ska/2 Tone Covers Band are looking for likely individuals to join our current lineup.
Due to the imminent departure of our Sax Player, we're in the market for a competent, enthusiastic and dedicated replacement. Additionally, we are also looking for an enthusiastic, committed and dedicated Trumpet and Trombone player(s) to form a Horn Section

We are also in the market for a committed and competent keyboard player to bring it all together.

17 year old, experienced, reliable creative gigging guitarist looking to Join a band or start a new original project in Lincoln and make some awesome tunes.  I am currently involved in another band http://www.myspace.com/thefixlincoln an young estblished band in Lincoln and will remain to play with them; but will make time for a another project as i enjoy making music to much :) . Im equipment wise pretty well set with a decent guitar, nice tube amp, and sorted with pedal board etc

Musically wise im mainly an improvisational lead guitarist,routed in the blues which allows me to adapt to any genre APART from anything heavier than punk; e.g thrash, hardcore, death metal (are all no go areas, they all suck).

Looking for or to start guitar based band who gig twice a monthish or more, with specifically genres such as Indie/ Alternative/ Rock/Blues especially gararge rock, would really like to start a band with a black keys, white stripes sound, but willing to adapt to anything. Im particulry interested in working with a good, versatile, confident singer/ song writer preferably singer/guitarist but again flexible with anything. I AM NOT LOOKING TO PLAY COVERS WANT TO MAKE ORIGINAL AWESOME TUNES, if we manage to write about 6 tunes in a few months I have the capabilities to get us some great quality, free recordings with a studio engineer in Lincoln Univeristy.

The Detuners are a punk rock/new wave covers band, formed in the Summer of 2009 
We focus on the late 70's punk explosion to play tracks by the likes of Generation X, The Damned, The Vibrators, Buzzcocks, Ramones, The Jam, Cock Sparrer, Ruts, 999, The Clash, Sex Pistols etc... and on occasions venture onto the New Wave side of the fence with tunes like Sound of the Suburbs and Is Vic There? 
Owing to the departure of our singer due to work commitments we require a vocalist to front our band. 
We were just on the verge of getting ourselves into a gig ready position when our singer had to leave. 
We currently practise at Metheringham, but this could be flexible depending on where you live as we have members from South and Mid Lincs.

We are looking for a drummer (40+) who can work within sensible noise levels and have more of an emphasis on style & feel than power. Wide range of influences inc.
