I'm interested in most styles of music, love indie, punk, folk, blues, ska, anything guitar based though not much of a metal head to be truthful. I'm part of a jamming duo with another of your reviewers (Pistol) Pete. Bit of a novice as far as the writitng goes but fairly good at stringing a coherent sentence together. Happy to do CD's and dowloads and even the odd gig as I love going to see bands and listening to new stuff. Contact Myspace: www.myspace.com/mzungu71 |

As a solo artist Joe plays tonnes of gigs and meets lots of bands/artists. He is also due to have a weekly radio show with Siren FM that places an emphasis on talent in the local music scene. An avid reader of most good music mags (and also A levels in English (Lang & Lit)- overqualified for this job?)

Most of you will need no introduction to Pete, who has been snapping away at local gigs for some time now.. He's also written a fair few reviews already for this site and Sandman magazine. But for those of you that have yet to meet him, this is straight from the horses mouth...
"Born in Lincoln. Have lived in Nottingham and London but it's BETTER here. Prefer to hear local, unsigned bands in small venues and the raw intensity of home burned songs to big name bands and studio albums. There are so many talented local bands in all genres playing gigs in Lincoln it's such a great scene. Also, a really BIG thanks to all the bands, promoters and venues who put up with me taking pics and writing reviews"

Graham Albans
Graham has experience writing reviews (see some of his earlier work at bedfordesquires.co.uk), and, judging by his earlier work, he keeps an open and fair mind when writing his reviews. He is passionate about local bands and is spreading his wings to take in Leeds bands and gigs when he writes for Sandman Magazine. On top of all of this Graham also plays drums in TV Kicks. Most genres covered (though not into metal). Contact Graham by email if you want your CD or a gig reviewed. Graham is also part of the team that presents The Friday Night Mix on BBC Radio Lincolnshire, where he is there to push the local live scene by promoting bands in local music news. |

We're pretty excited about Katrina reviewing for us as not only is she our first lady, but she's got an excellent track record. She's been writing for Gigwise for a while now, check out her writing here www.gigwise.com. I think you'll agree she's written some excellent articles. If you check out Katrina's bio on Gigwise you'll see that she has a penchant for Indie / Alt Rock. So feel free to contact her if you want her to come along to review your gig or if you would like your CD reviewing. Katrina can be contacted by email (see below) or via her MySpace which is: www.myspace.com/trinaribena

Agent G, has been active on the local music scene since around 1995, when he played with Atraphine alongside Laurie Blacker (now with Detonal State). Following the demise of Atraphine Agent G also played with Hedge and Flipside before making a bit of a noise on the scene with locally renown rockers The Elusive Mr Hunt. He now plays acoustic sets. He has written reviews before, most notably for the lamented [c]Rush fanzine.

Craig is currently the bassist/co-singer with (the-shambles) before that was in another indie band 'makeshift', before that was part of a heavy metal band, before that a punk band called 'subordinate' and before that a rock'n'roll band so he's pretty much done anything and everything. His brother is Lee out of Starter and he's also currently working with Tim out of Detonal State. Craig's wide experience with different genres will enable him to "pretty much review anything".
