Firebrand + Sevenday Weekend Christopher's, Lincoln 01 September 2006

Three piece grunge rockers Firebrand from Leicester headlined the first
Friday in September at Christophers. Having just had their storming
first demo produced by Arctic Monkeys/Pulp producer Alan Smyth and a
Support included local indie poppers Seven Day
Weekend who continue their massive national touring schedule with a
home game - and it just so happened they tied up a management deal on
the night. They seemed happy and it showed. Also, as a result of

recent play on Radio One they are on a roll - and it showed when they
lit into their first song. Their skillful take no prisoners thrash was
punky, metally and kinda sassy, too - great for moshing. Hope they
come back soon!!!!
Steve H amongst others, their quirky,
upbeat songs have recently been reworked to mix it up, adding a new
found assuredness to a popular Lincoln guitar band.
