LCN collective at Kind has to be one of the best acoustic nights around. Kind’s laid back style is the perfect
Support from Annie Collett and Elliott Morris seemed only fitting to begin the night, giving us a taste of similar material we should expect later on from Jon and Viv, but also showing us their own material too with big promise. Annie’s lyrics speak volumes, with her ability to produce an honest and unique song, this girl has definite potential to go far. Elliott’s incredible talent to produce a catchy and distinctive record, as you would hear on his myspace, shouldn’t be the sole reason as to why you should see him perform. Offering the audience more than his music, here he showcased a true talent to play the guitar and connect with the audience.
Whilst these young musicians worked up the audience in preparation for our final acts, you could really tell the people who came were truly there to appreciate the music. There’s a real chilled atmosphere about the venue, perfect for songstress Viv Murrell to take
The main man of the night certainly had a following with him at Kind and Jon Gomm didn’t fail to amaze. With his fans chanting his songs for him to play, he almost seemed in awe of how many people knew their names, or the lyrics. His modesty really shone through and his consistent gratitude to the audience was notable among many. Playing tracks from his new album ‘Don’t Panic’, the crowd thoroughly swam amongst the beautiful music, especially Waterfall. Jon first picked up a guitar at the age of 2 and wrote his first song at 6, which honestly shows his experience with lyrics and melodies especially in putting together an outstanding song. Jon’s envious talent to play the guitar is one of which I can imagine the audience wished they had. His free and liberating riffs truly mark
I stand by saying that Kind acoustic night is one of the best around and the most beautiful place to find the greatest up and coming performers, one of which you wouldn’t want to miss.

venue for the night, situated at the bottom of Steep Hill and complete with beer garden and quaint decor of fairy lights. Most recently, Jon Gomm and Viv Murrell took to the stage to perform tracks from their past EP’s and future releases.
to the stage and debut new material, alongside her beautiful classics such as ‘Rose’ and ‘Charms’. If you haven’t heard this lady before, she is more beautiful live than you can imagine from her EP’s. I think it’s her writing that captivates the audience, probably due to her compelling lyrics, but when it’s paired with her inspiring talent to play the guitar, this lady without a doubt hypnotising to watch. She’s got sass too, something which makes her stand out, exactly what a performer wants. And her modesty too, is just overwhelmingly stunning. With gigs planned all over Lincolnshire, catching Viv live is a definite must-do and I can assure you that you will not regret it.
him as one of the most gifted guitar player’s I’ve honestly ever seen. His connection to the audience is most admirable too, even asking them to call out songs they’d like to hear, teasing them at their ability to perfectly shout out a song in sync, and ending the night on a perfect note of performing on a table in the middle of the audience. This guy has the perfect concoction of charisma, talent and confidence which makes a wonderful performer.
