27.05.08 Hyper Snyper have stepped in to replace Kensal Rise at this Thursdays gig at Walkabout. If you missed their belting double set gig at RaW's Fest The Anchor venue a few weekends back, you need to see this one, lots of cross genre's of music with Electro, Hip Hop, Metal, Rock and Indie. Someone told me they even covered a popular 80's Film Soundtrack at the last gig (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver...) Walkabout is £3 tickets from the bands that are on, or Bounce PR or in advanced from the venue or pay on the door for 50p more.
|
27.05.08 The Frontline have pulled out of The Lincoln Big Bike Fest due to recruiting a new bassist. However, Jean from Metheringham Music Factory (who is organising all of the bands that are playing on the lorry) has managed to entice Disarm from Mexborough to take their place (at very short notice as well!) Disarm are equally raucous so there will still be a good cross-genre representation. All of the bands are donating their services for free (but the exposure of playing in front of an audience similar to last year is a massive enticement - upwards of 10,000 people visited the Bike Fest in 2007). The line up will be: Nightvision, Disarm, Manzarek, The Kindred and Aidan Marshall. Disarm will also be playing at the Biv on June 20th.
