Meet. Drink. Laugh. Dance. Enjoy.
09 Oct 05: Going out used to be a weekend
thing, but thanks to the launch of Grimsby’s newest venue
the i-Bar;
going out is an every-night-of-the-week-thing. The venue launches
on Thursday 13 October remembering the untimely death of John
Peel by celebrating his life as part of National John Peel
Day. The i-Bar will remember him through music and good times
as the great man would have wanted it: 2 secret bands and
NME-loved DJs to take you from 7pm until 2am as London takes
over the north with Stylish Riots. That’s not all, with drinks
cheaper than your average and a great atmosphere, the i-Bar
launch promises a memorable night. When you’ve recovered from
all of that it’s time to sample the delights of the rest of
the i-Bar’s programme. From comedy to art and everything in
between, there’s something for everyone and student nights
will remain in the Thursday night slot. Coming up we’re promised
Snow Patrol, The Ghears, Kaiser Chiefs, The Bodyrockers and
more so keep an ear to the ground for the news as it happens.
If you can’t wait to find out more go to the i-Bar’s fantastic
new website www.i-bar.co.uk
Love music/art/comedy/films? See you down the i-Bar! i-Bar,
