| New live hip hop monthly events at So:Luxe, formerly the Slug and Lettuce on the Waterfront.
Undertone is Lincoln's latest monthly live event, dedicated to providing a proper UK hip hop night to the loyal Lincolnshire audience. It's the natural successor to the mighty Longuistics events run from 2002 - 2005 in Lincoln, it will feature the biggest and best names in UK Hip Hop and Grime over the course of 2006, mixed with the finest local and up 'n' coming DJ's and live acts. The first event featured UK Hip Hops finest SKINNYMAN at headline. He's been called the UK's answer to Eminem, with his latest album 'Council Estate of Mind' full of gritty London rhymes that sum up the state of the nation superbly from his point of view.
The beats will be kept flowing by Undertone resident DJ's Don Propa and Cube playing the cream of UK and underground US hip hop, with special guest MC Prime on the hype spot.
